Zucchini Italienne Basic-Recipes.com9/2/06

6 firm zucchini
1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons of butter
1 1/2 cups of Italian Tomato sauce

 

Wash and slice zucchini. In a heat proof casserole, sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add uncooked zucchini and sauté for 5 - 6 minutes. Remove from heat, pour on the sauce , and cover the casserole. Place in a preheated 350ºF. oven for 30 minutes. Serve with a simple meat entree.
