Sour Cream Cucumber Mold

Two (3 oz.) pkg. lime gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vinegar (cider)
2 tsp. grated onion
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
2 c. cucumbers, peeled, seeded & diced

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir well and add salt, vinegar and onion. Refrigerate mixture until it begins to thicken. Beat until foamy. Blend sour cream and mayonnaise and add to Jell-O and beat until smooth. Fold in cucumbers and pour into oiled 7-cup mold. Refrigerate until firm. Serves 8.
