4 slices of bacon 2 cups of shredded cabbage 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped 1 small onion, chopped
Instructions:
Fry the bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Pour off most of the bacon drippings. Sauté the onion and chopped apple until soft. Add cabbage which has been very coarsely shredded. Stir and cover on low heat until cabbage is cooked. Add the crumbled bacon and toss.
