1/2 cup of melted margarine 1 medium head of chopped cabbage 1 green pepper 2 stalks celery 2 carrots 1 large onion 3/4 cup of evaporated milk a dash of salt a dash of pepper 1 scant teaspoon of sugar |

Instructions:
Cut green pepper into strips. Chop the celery and carrots thin and slanted. Slice onion into rings. Melt the margarine and add vegetables in a large skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir in milk and heat thoroughly. Add the salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Serves 8 |
