4 tablespoons of margarine 1/3 cup of Minced onions 1 Small head cabbage 2 cups of uncooked egg noodles 1 teaspoon of Paprika Salt and pepper; to taste 1 cup of Monterey jack cheese, grated |

Heat margarine in electric fry pan. Sauté onion for 5 minutes. Shred cabbage to the width of noodles. Add to onion in fry pan. Cover and cook on Low until cabbage is tender, not mushy. Meanwhile cook noodles according to pkg. directions. Drain. Stir into cabbage with paprika. Add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook just until cheese melts. Add noodles and salt and pepper to taste. If noodles have been chilled, douse with hot water to separate, draining well before adding to cabbage mixture.
