| Beets with Pineapple
1 can of pineapple chunks, drained, reserve syrup 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 can of diced beets, reserve juice 1 tablespoon of vinegar 3/4 tablespoons of salt
Mix reserved pineapple chunks with cornstarch. Drain beets. Mix beet juice with 1/2 cup pineapple cornstarch mixture. Heat juices stirring constantly until thickened. Add vinegar, salt and 1 1/2 cups pineapple chunks and the beets. Heat through. |
