Georgia Aquarium is the world’s second largest with over 8 million gallons of water – the top Atlanta attraction, right in the heart of downtown.
I recently traveled to Atlanta for a vacation. I purchased my ticket to the Georgia Aquarium at 10:21am during the week of Spring Break.
Coupons: I assumed there would be some type of coupons for the aquarium at the hotel; there were none. We did find a package deal, called the Atlanta City Pass - if offers admission to the Aquarium as well as other 'must see' Atlanta attractions. Other than that, we found no legit coupons.
Cost: The aquarium website site: Ticket price: Adult - $26.00 Child (age 3-12) - $19.50 Senior (age 65 and up) - $21.50
However I just looked at my ticket stub, and I paid $27.00.
Kid Factor: Your children will love it. If you are without kids, you get double your money. Not only will you get to see the exhibits, but you also get to side step, step around, and deal with a ton of unattended children.
Rating: If you dismiss the crowds, the aquarium is pretty awesome. Picture taking is allowed. Expect crowds, and as usual there is the rude parent(s) that just push their kids' way through. If I went again, I would wait until school was in session and go later in the day. 3 stars for me.
