Beef Steak Sandwiches

One 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons of instant minced onion
1 teaspoon of oregano
A dash of garlic powderv2 large English muffins
4 beef cubed steaks
2 tablespoons of lard or drippings
4 slices of mozzarella cheese
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of basil
4 large stuffed green olives, sliced 

Combine the tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, onion, oregano and garlic powder. Simmer for 5 minutes. Split and toast English  muffins. Brown cubed steaks, on both sides, in lard over moderate heat 7 to 10 minutes. Place each browned steak on English muffin half. Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato mixture on each steak. Cover each with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of oregano and basil and sprinkle a little on each slice. Arrange slices of stuffed green olives on tops. Place under broiler 3 inches from heat until cheese melts, about 5 minutes. Serves 2, freeze 2
