| Garlic Dressing 3 cups of Miracle Whip 1 1/2 cups of salad oil 1/2 cup of vinegar(scant white or wine) 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt 1 1/2 teaspoons of Accent 1 or more cloves garlic 1/3 cup of onion Parsley Mix all together in blender. Store in covered container in refrigerator. Add blue cheese, if desired. Shake well before serving. |

Garlic Dressing 2
2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese 3 tablespoons of olive oil or vegetable oil 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar 1 teaspoon of dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon of pepper 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar. 6 servings.
Garlic Herb Dressing 3
1 clove garlic, minced 5 tablespoons of olive oil 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon of dried chervil 1/2 teaspoon of dried marjoram 1/4 teaspoon of dried mint 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme 1/8 teaspoon of dried tarragon 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, seasoned salt or salt-free seasoning Fresh green pepper
Place all ingredients in bowl and whip with fork or whisk or combine in blender or food processor. Creamy Garlic Dressing 4
1 cup of plain nonfat yogurt 1 1/2 teaspoon of hot mustard 1/2 teaspoon of finely grated lemon rind 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper 2 tablespoons of minced parsley 2 cloves garlic, peeled & halved
In a medium bowl whisk together yogurt, mustard, lemon rind and cayenne pepper. Stir in parsley. Thread garlic onto a toothpick and add to the dressing. Cover and chill for 6 hours or overnight. Remove garlic and discard before serving dressing. Store leftover dressing in tightly covered jar in refrigerator and shake well before each use.
Creamy Garlic Dressing 5
1 1/4 cup of plain low-fat yogurt 1/2 cup of nonfat milk 1 tablespoon of wine or cider vinegar 4 cloves garlic, mashed or 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder 1 teaspoon of dried basil 1 teaspoon of dried oregano 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary 1 teaspoon of dried sage 1 teaspoon of dill weed
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
Creamy Garlic Dressing 6
1 cup of Hellmann's mayonnaise 2 tablespoons of minced parsley 1 tablespoon of white vinegar 1 tablespoon of milk 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed 1/2 teaspoon of sugar 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Stir together all ingredients. Cover; chill. Makes 1 cup. For creamy onion dressing: substitute 1 tablespoon grated onion for garlic. Great chilled and served over tossed salad or macaroni. |
