Grapefruit in Raspberry Puree

one 10 ounce package of frozen red raspberries
1/4 cup of sugar
2 small grapefruit

Thaw the raspberries as directed on package. Place in blender container, add sugar, blend until smooth. Stir through a fine sieve to remove seeds.
Peel, then section grapefruit into a small bowl. Pour off juice to drain. Stir in about 1/3 cup of raspberry puree. Cover, chill 2 to 6 hours for flavors to blend. Set out about 30 minutes before serving, it will taste sweeter.
Cover and refrigerate remaining puree to serve over vanilla ice cream, an incomparable sundae for raspberry  lovers. Serves 2
