Country Fried Round Steak

one 1 1/2 - 2 pound round steak, 1/2 inch thick
2 eggs, beaten
2 tablespoon of milk Basic-Recipes.com9/21/06
1 cup of fine cracker crumbs
1/4 cup of fat
salt and pepper to taste

Pound steak thoroughly; cut in serving pieces. Mix eggs and milk. Dip meat into egg mixture; coat in cracker crumbs. Brown on both sides in hot fat; season to taste. Cover tightly and cook over very low heat for 50 - 60 minutes. Makes 6 servings
