| Pepper Steak 2
3 cups of hot cooked rice 1 pound of round steak (1/2"thick) 1 tablespoon of paprika 2 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 large tomato, cut in 1/8ths 2 garlic cloves, crushed 1 1/2 cup of beef broth 1 cup of sliced onions 2 green peppers 1/2 cup of water and soy sauce |

While the rice is cooking, sprinkle meat with paprika and allow to stand while preparing the other ingredients. Brown the meat with butter, add garlic and broth. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in onion and pepper. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or more. Blend water and soy sauce and corn starch into meat mixture, cook until clear and thick. |
