| Macaroni & Ham Casserole
1 cup of macaroni 1/2 cup of chopped onion 1/3 cup of chopped celery 3 tablespoons of butter 2 tablespoons of flour 1 1/4 cup of milk 1 can of cream of chicken soup 1 1/2 cup of diced ham |

Cook macaroni as directed on package. Cook onion and celery in butter until tender, about 10 minutes. Add flour and blend. Add milk and cook over low heat, until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in chicken soup. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Garnish with almonds, if desired. Bake at 350ºF. for 30 minutes. (This recipe is good with chicken, turkey or tuna, omit ham.) |
