| Lima Bean & Sausage Casserole
1 cup of tomatoes, whole
1 pound of lima beans
1 pound of Italian hot sausage
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 large onion, cut into rings
1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt |

Cook lima beans according to the package directions or until tender. Place beans and tomatoes into a large casserole dish. Cook in oven 10 to 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; stir and place sausage and onion rings on top. Leave casserole dish uncovered on middle level of oven. Turn oven to broil; cook until sausage is no longer pink inside. Serves 5 to 7. |
