1 pound of fresh lima beans 1/4 teaspoon of sage 1 tablespoon of butter 3 teaspoons of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley |

Cook the lima beans in an inch of boiling water, covered. Simmer for 20 minutes After 10 minutes of cooking time add sage. When tender add butter, lemon juice, and chopped parsley.
