| Fruit Compote one 1 pound can of pitted dark cherries, undrained one 1 pound can of peaches, drained 1/2 cup of brown sugar or more to taste one 8 ounce box of dried apricots juice from 1 orange juice from 1 lemon grated rind and fine slivers of lemon and orange whipped cream
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine all ingredients except whipped cream in large baking dish; bake for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Serve warm or cold, with whipped cream. serves 6 - 8 |
