Strawberry Fritters

2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup of whipping cream
1/2 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of flour
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 pint of whole strawberries, washed & hulled

Combine all ingredients except strawberries and mix well. Stir in strawberries being careful not to mash them. Drop spoonfuls of batter (with an individual strawberry in each spoonful) into hot fat and fry until golden. To serve, stack fritters into pyramid shape and sugar over the tops. *Note: Raspberries, currants or blackberries can also be used. Serves 4.
