Crab Cakes 3 Basic-Recipes.com 9/12/06

1 pound of crab meat
6 or 7 soda crackers, rolled into fine crumbs
2 tablespoons of milk
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
1 tablespoon of green pepper, cut finely and sauté in oleo
1 teaspoon of celery seed
1 teaspoon of mustard sauce
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 egg

Sauté the green pepper in oleo until soft. Mix the above ingredients with fork. Add crab meat. Shape the crab cakes and dip in bread crumbs. Place in refrigerator until needed. Fry in oleo for 2 minutes on each side or until brown. Serves 8
