All Purpose Barbecue Sauce

1/4 cup of salad oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/4 cup of bourbon, sherry, or wine
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of pepper, freshly ground


Combine all ingredients and pour over meat. Marinate in refrigerator. Also use to baste meat as you cook it. Good on red meat, fish or chicken. Makes 4 servings. 

All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce 2

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of  black pepper
1/2 medium size onion, chopped
2 teaspoons of prepared mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons of  Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup of catsup
1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of salt

Heat to boiling. Use on poultry, pork, or beef.
