| Pennyburgers
3 or 4 frankfurters, sliced thin
1 pound of ground beef
1 teaspoon of salt
a dash of pepper
1/3 cup of evaporated milk |

Mix ingredients, shape 6 patties, about 1/2 inch thick, spread both sides with butter. Broil over hot coals, turning once, about 13 - 15 minutes total cooking time. Serve in toasted buns. Pass the catsup, mustard and hamburger relish. Makes 6 servings
