| Two Crust Pastry
2 cups of plain flour 1 teaspoon of salt 2/3 cup of Crisco shortening 18 teaspoons of ice water
With pastry blender cut shortening into flour and salt until mixture is pea-sized bits. Add ice water by a few teaspoons at a time. Toss with fork after each addition just until moistened. Roll out into 2 crusts as needed. |
