Blueberry & Peach Cobbler

2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
2 cups of peeled sliced fresh peaches
1 cup of blueberries

Topping:

1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/4 cup of sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of butter or margarine, softened

In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring until thick. Add fruit and pour into a 2 quart baking dish. For topping, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Stir in milk and butter. Spread over fruit mixture and bake at 375ºF. for 50 minutes or until topping is golden brown and tests done. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings
