Apple Pie 3

Pastry for two crust pie
5 or 6 apples, pared and sliced
2/3 cu of fructose
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/4 cup of cornstarch
2 tablespoons of lemon juice

 

Prepare pastry for 2 crust pie. Spray bottom and sides of pie pan and line with half rolled out crust. Combine the fructose, nutmeg , cornstarch and mix well. Pare and slice the apples, add lemon juice. Stir in fructose mixture into apples and arrange in pie crust. Cover with remaining rolled out crust. Press edges together and flute in attractive manner. Bake at 400ºF. for 45 minutes or until well browned.
