| Sweet & Sour Pork Steaks
1 tablespoon of cooking oil 2 pork steaks 3/4 cup of chicken broth 1/4 cup of finely chopped celery 1 tablespoon of brown sugar 1 tablespoon of vinegar 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard 1/4 teaspoon of salt a dash of pepper 2 tablespoons of crushed gingersnaps (2 cookies) hot cooked noodles |

Heat skillet over high heat. Add oil to skillet. Cook steaks in oil about 8 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, turning once. Remove steaks and keep warm. Drain fat from skillet. In the same skillet, stir together chicken broth, celery, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in gingersnaps. Cook and stir until mixture is thick and bubbly. Serve meat and sauce over hot cooked noodles. Serves 4 |
