Barbecued Lamb Chops

eight 1/2 inch thick lamb chops
Salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic, halved
1 teaspoon of Bouquet Garni
1/2 cup of wine vinegar
1/4 cup of vegetable oil



Sprinkle lamb chops with salt and pepper; rub with garlic. Combine Bouquet Garni, vinegar, and oil, mixing well. Coat chops and marinate for 2 to 4 hours. Place chops 5 to 6 inches from medium fire. Grill 6 to 7 minutes for rare, 8 - 10 minutes for medium, 12 or more minutes for well done, turning once. Baste frequently with sauce during cooking. Yield 8 servings
