Saucy Onion Chicken

2 small whole chicken breasts or 1 large chicken breast, split
1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
1/2 cup of sauterne
2 tablespoons of water
1/4 cup of dairy sour cream
French onion dip
hot cooked rice




Remove skin from chicken breasts. In small skillet, brown chicken in butter, Season with salt and pepper. Add sauterne. Cover ands simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Remove chicken, keep warm. Add water to skillet, scraping browned bits from bottom of pan. Stir in onion till well blended. To serve, arrange chicken on hot cooked rice and pour the sauce over all. Serves 2
