| Beef Patties
1/3 cup of chopped onion 3 tablespoons of butter 2 cups plus 2 tablespoons of flour 1 1/34 cup of chopped cooked beef 1 1/3 cup of canned or stewed tomatoes salt and pepper 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 large egg yolk, beaten 1/3 cup of milk |

Cook the onion in butter for 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of flour, beef, tomatoes, salt and pepper, heat. Mix 2 cups of flour, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, and baking powder, add egg yolk and milk, stirring to make a soft dough. Roll thin, cut into squares to fit large cup cake pans. Place dough in greased cup cake pans, fill with meat vegetable mixture. Bring ends of dough together, closing each pie gently. Bake at 400ºF. for 15 minutes or until golden brown. 8 servings |
