English Pea Soup

one 10 ounce package of frozen English Peas
1/4 medium head lettuce
3 ounces of fresh spinach leaves
1/2 cup of chopped green onions
2 teaspoons of chicken flavored bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon of dried whole chervil, crushed
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1 1/4 cups of water
3/4 cup of skim milk

 

Combine the English peas, lettuce, spinach, green onions, bouillon granules, chervil and pepper in a large saucepan, stir in water. Cover and bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes. Process the mixture in container of an electric blender or food processor until smooth. Return the mixture to saucepan and stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until thoroughly heated. Makes 8 servings
 

Each Servings:  1/2 cup
