Vanilla Wafer Pudding

1 large box of vanilla instant pudding
1 small box of vanilla instant pudding
3 cups of milk
One 8 ounce bowl of Cool Whip
1 box vanilla wafers

In large bowl add pudding mix and milk. Beat until mixture begins to thicken. Add Cool Whip and beat until smooth. First layer cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan with vanilla wafers. Add half of pudding mix. Repeat with second layer. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs for topping. 

Vanilla Wafer Pudding 2

3 cups of milk
3 egg yolks
1 cup of sugar
1/8 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of cornstarch
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Scald milk in top of double boiler over direct heat. Meanwhile in a small bowl combine beaten egg yolks, sugar, salt and cornstarch. Pour about 1/2 cup of scalded milk over egg mixture. Stirring to blend. Return egg mixture to remaining milk in top of double boiler and set top in place over boiling water. Cook until mixture is smooth and thickened. This can be used as banana pudding. Layer vanilla wafers and bananas along with pudding. 

Vanilla Wafer Pudding 3

2/3 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of butter
2 egg yolks, beaten
3 tablespoons of thick sweet cream
1 small can of crushed pineapple
Vanilla wafers

Cream sugar and butter, add egg yolks. Mix well. Add cream and pineapple. Mix together well. Add 1 cup ground or chopped nuts. Then layer with vanilla wafers using wafers first, three layers each, with mixture on top. Top with whipped cream when served. It is better to make this the day before serving.
