| Sugar Free Slice & Bake Cookies
1/2 cup of butter 2/3 cup of honey 1 egg 1 3/4 cup of whole wheat flour 2 tablespoons of wheat germ 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
Beat butter and honey together until smooth and creamy. Beat in egg. Add flour and spices, and stir until smooth. Shape into 2 logs, 8 inches long, and wrap in foil. Refrigerate or freeze until needed ( at least 1 hour). To bake: Slice dough into rounds about 1/4 inch thick. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350ºF. for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen cookies
