Low Calorie Red Beans & Rice

1 package of dried kidney beans
2-3 pounds of  turkey ham
Precooked turkey sausage
Bay leaves
1 bell pepper
1 onion
2-3 stalks celery
Tony Chacere seasoning
Rice
 

In large pot soak beans overnight in 3-4 cups of water (add more water if needed). When preparing to cook dice bell pepper, onion and celery. Cut up turkey ham in cubes and slice turkey sausage. Add bell pepper, onion, celery, 2-3 bay leaves and Tony Chacere (to taste) to pot of beans. Simmer on low to medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until beans are tender. Add ham and sausage last 30 minutes of simmering.
