Calories: 50 per serving Exchanges: 1 serving = 1 Vegetable A, 1/2 fat
1 teaspoon of bacon chips
1 tablespoon of margarine
1 finely minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
2 tablespoons of finely chopped green pepper
1 chopped tomato
2 1/2 cups of green beans
1 1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/8 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/3 cup of water
In skillet, sauté bacon chips in margarine until lightly brown. Add garlic, onion and green pepper and sauté until onions are golden. Stir in tomato, green beans, salt, pepper, oregano and water.
Cover and cook gently until beans are tender, about 15 minutes.
