California Pilaf

2 pounds of ground beef
2 1/2 cups of water
8 ounces of tomato sauce
1 green pepper, chopped
2 small garlic cloves, minced, optional
1 small onion, chopped
2 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2/3 cup of ripe olives, sliced
1 1/3 cups of raw long grain rice

Brown the ground beef in skillet, drain off fat. Place ground beef and all remaining ingredients in pot. Stir well. Cover and cook on LOW 5 - 6 hours HIGH 3 hours. Serves 4- 6.
