Irish Beef Stew


 

Irish Beef Stew

2 pounds of stewing beef, cubed
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
Two 10 3/4 ounce cans of tomato paste
1 soup can of water
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 cups of diced carrots
2 cups of diced potatoes
1 pound package of frozen peas
1/4 cup of water

 

Place the beef, onion soup, tomato soup, soup can of water ,salt, pepper, carrots and potatoes into slow cooker. Cover. Cook on LOW for 8 hours. Add the peas and 1/4 cup of water. Cover. Cook on LOW for 1 more hour. Makes 4 - 6 servings
