Glazed Water Chestnuts

1 pound of bacon
1/2 cup of brown sugar
16 ounces of Whole water chestnuts
1/2 cup of chili sauce
1/2 cup of mayonnaise

 

Slice bacon in pieces long enough to wrap around chestnut and secure with toothpick. Bake at 450ºF.  until the bacon is crisp. Drain. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chestnuts. Bake at 375ºF.  for 15 minutes or until sauce has turned into a glaze.
