| Baked Beans
1 large onion, chopped 1 tablespoon of bacon fat three 1 pound cans of Boston style baked beans with pork 1 teaspoon of dry mustard 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup of maple syrup 6 slices of bacon |

Fry the bacon fat until well browned. Add beans, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and syrup and mix well. Take care not to break up the pork too much. Divide beans into 6 individual 1 cup casseroles. Cut bacon slices in half and lay 2 halves over beans in each casserole. Bake in 400ºF. oven until bacon is crisp. If not crisp in 30 minutes, run casseroles under the broiler to crisp bacon quickly. Serves 6 |
