| | Spirited Raisins
1 cup of dark seedless or golden raisins 1/2 cup of warmed brandy, rum, orange liqueur, coffee flavored liqueur, chocolate based liqueur, sherry or tequila
Place the raisins in sterilized 1/2 pint jar. Pour warmed liquor or liqueur over them, seal. Let stand for 24 hours or more, shaking occasionally. When using Spirited Raisins in a recipe, take out the desired amount, straining liquor back into jar. To replenish, add more raisins and liquor to the jar, estimating proportions. Makes 1 half pint |
