Hot Mulled Cider

1/2 cup of brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 quarts of cider
1 teaspoon of whole allspice
1 teaspoon of whole cloves
3 inches stick cinnamon


Combine the brown sugar, salt, and cider. Tie spices in small piece of cheesecloth, add. Slowly bring to boiling, simmer, covered for 20 minutes. Remove spices. Serve hot. Float clove studded orange slices on top. Serves 10
